Things That Could Not Be Measured

I live my life with lots of measuring, logically and rationally. I learned last night, thanks to Mom, that life is beyond than that. Even though you've already done all the things righteously, you might not get what you actually deserve at that moment. She told me that God is always watching out for us, and by not getting rewards at the moment you've done all of your obligations, it doesn't mean that you won't get any. God only wants us to learn how to be patient. A person has two choices in facing this kind of situation: 1) upset, or 2) accept. The first choice will make the person miserable whereas the second one might keep their happiness alive. And above all that, we (me and my Mom) finally came up with the conclusion of: "God will give your reward at the perfect time, you might not understand right now, but we should only believe that eventually God will give it to us, and being patient will only make the reward worth to wait."
